I thought I could skip this ugly part

I wanted to lose all the weight quietly and then post about my victory

I’ve wanted to start my coaching career a while ago.

I thought “ I will lose the weight, and then start coaching”…

So I can have a victory. A victory to post about. So that I can look good and feel good online.

But it seems like life has other plans for me. No matter what I was doing, the weight would not budge. It is very frustrating.

I am a healthy eater, I am active. I walk, I work out, I garden, I do yoga, I bike…

But my journey is unique, it’s different.

I am here to teach more than just weight loss…

I am here to teach you how to live freely! Authentically

And how can I teach to live freely, when I am constricting?

People hold on to weight for many different reasons. It can be emotional blocks, shame, lack of boundaries. Sexual trauma. Being sad and depressed. Not wanting to be authentic and being scared to take up space. Being scared to be themselves.

And that’s exactly my story. My story is all of the above.

And I had to live through every inch of that, so that I can learn. So I can learn and teach others who are struggling.

So I thought I could skip this ugly part.

I thought I could skip not talking about it.

The part where I fast forward to where I present you with the polished perfection of me…

After weight loss…

But my grief had other plans..

It needs a witness

The last 20 years of my life, went like this…

  • I’ll go to this wedding, after I lose 20 pounds

  • I’ll do yoga, after I lose 10 pounds

  • My husband will love me, after I weight 103 pounds

  • I’ll post reels, after I lose 40 pounds

  • I’ll start coaching, after I loose 50 pounds

I’ve waited to start my life, AFTER I lose weight…

My soul is tired of waiting. My life is tired of waiting.

I will start now. Even if It’s hard.

Even if I’m sad.

Because no one talks about how sad it is, to go from looking like that to looking like this… It’s devastating

My life starts now!

No more fear…

No more sad…

We start together, even if it’s ugly or not perfect.

I have already started. My weight is moving..

But I needed to talk about this. It’s a part of my journey.

I’m processing my grief and letting go.

Last week, since I made the decision to start to live my life freely, I have already lost weight. And now that I am applying the tools I have learned in the last 10 years, It’s going to continue.

I am so excited for this part of my life

Thank you for being here
